L.K. Avelar began his professional career in San Fancisco. After three years in the Bay area acting in films and commercials, Avelar relocated to Los Angeles.

L.K.'s credits include Deadly Culture, a straight to video horror feature, and Romeo & Romiette premiering at "Outfest" 2004.
