William Knight is a Los Angeles native who began his career on stage at age five. He served four years in the Air Force then studied theatre at Los Angeles Community College.

Knight moved to New York and acted on stage for twelve years making his Broadway debut in Oh Calcutta! His first television job was as the "Amorous Crewman" in a 1966 episode of Star Trek. Knight has amassed an extensive list of credits including over 100 plays including the recent seven month run of Central Avenue at the Fountain Theatre. He is a top voice-over artist.

Other credits include The Young and the Restless, The Trouble With Normal, Unsolved Mysteries, Stargate, I Got the Hook-Up, Nautilus, Backgammon.

William is a single dad to Ryan and two pet wolves.
